As most of us know, when Jesus was asked by His enemies if they should pay taxes, He asked to see a coin, pointed out that Caesar’s image was on it, and replied, “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s and render unto God that which is His.”

This is both a command and a separation of people into those in the Kingdom of God and those who are not. If we feel that the gathering of programmed entities is more important than He Who programmed them, and obey the Unprogrammed Programmer’s operating instructions, we have entered into His Program, which is how Catholic Fundamentalists see “Zion” and “The Kingdom of God”.

A lot of people are able to break free from the goal of accumulating more programmed entities and cheerfully give Caesar what he wants. It’s only for a little while.
