Can you stand hearing about another lie?

Today, the parts per million of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere graph has gone up from 1960 to about what it was in 1820, and a little less than it was in 1940.  Not much actual danger, here.  If the levels of carbon dioxide fall too far, all warm-blooded animals will die, so we’d be safer if there were more than the minimal amount there is.

What’s the point of making a life-sustaining necessity like carbon dioxide into something dangerous?
