Schismatics don’t do well.

As some readers know, elsewhere on this website, some effort is being expended on looking at the Book of Revelations from a Catholic Fundamentalism point of view. It’s been, as countless commentators have said, “a relevation”. It’s the most complicated writing in the Bible, and it’s been a joy to examine, re-examine, and continue to do so again and again.

There are a lot of historical allegories that have been made about some of the meanings. They require going back to some of the source documents. When reflecting on them, it is reasonable to conclude that the farther people and peoples get from the Catholic Church, the worse they do.

There seem to be no exceptions to this rule, though destruction does, sometimes, drag on for centuries.
