Overseas money is going to Tom Ridge. This morning, the Drudge Report let us all know that at least for the past two years, former Governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Ridge, also the former head of Homeland Security, had been working for the Government of Albania as a consultant.
His salary from them was reported to be $500,000.00 a year. He’d been working for them for two years without making the legally required public filing of his employment.
Albanian politics are complicated. One faction supports Christians. Another, Moslems. Which faction hired Mr. Ridge? Why did he keep quiet?
At least we do know one thing: Some people will disregard the law for half a million a year.
