Not much warming on this globe. Still, there are many possible dangers.

It’s hard to see any signs of global warming on our precious planet during the month of September.  Even though the zigzag blue line shows that there’s been an increase of deadly carbon dioxide, which still hasn’t broken through the dreaded 400 parts per million level, global temperatures continue to drop.  In a year or two, we might reach the apocalyptic 400 parts per million of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.  Then, the entire globe may see monthly temperature increases of three to five degrees.  Some believe that monthly temperature increases may increase geometrically at that point, providing us 9 to 15 degree increases in temperature every month.  In less than a year of that, life as we know it on earth will disappear.

Another thing that’s changed is the output of solar energy.  Last month, the sun had no sunspots at all.  Only one or two tiny ones, this month.  If this continues, within twenty to twenty six months, global temperatures may begin to fall as much as eleven degrees per month.  In less than a year of falling temperatures, life as we know it on earth will disappear.

The only thing that appears likely to save us is if:  A.  Carbon dioxide levels begin to increase more rapidly, ensuring a huge increase global warming.  B.  Solar energy output declines exactly to match the increase in carbon dioxide-related global warming.  If both of these conditions occur, it may be that life as we know it on earth may continue another three or four years.  Maybe, five.

Many, many more studies are needed, immediately.
