Babylonians agree in every age. “We have no God but Caesar.”
Caesars are first worshiped by pretending they are necessary. “Without Caesar, we cannot solve our problems! We are safe with Caesar!”
A few see the vain, human pretenses behind the curtain. They realize: “These problems are invented or imaginary!” Those making honest appraisals are made into “enemies of the state”. Many are marginalized. Some are martyred. That, of course, answers the question: How to be farthest from Babylon.
Invented and Imaginary Problems in our time include carbon dioxide, salt, global freezing/warming, sugar, ozone holes, lack of pre-nursery schools, rising/falling sea levels, unfairness, and inequality and “green” energy. Pretentious concerns hang like rotting fruit on the terraces of Babylon’s gardens. Awful people spend their lives in those gardens. They tell blatant lies. “The rotting fruit is good for you!”
Why is there such an awful place on earth as Babylon? Why did The Loving Programmer allow such corruption to exist in The Creation Program? Babylon is there to separate sheep from goats in every time and place.
The Loving Programmer, and His hosts of angelic sub-programmers, wrote and downloaded The Creation Program so well that the vain may freely choose to avoid seeing His Programming Power. The Writer of The Creation Program is invisible to those who worship their vanity in Babylon. Instead of obeying The Loving Programmer’s command to love God and neighbor, they choose to kill and steal.
Details of The Creation Program were brilliantly written and downloaded to give us free will. Those who avoid God and His Commandments freely choose to believe the earth is billions of years old. Carbon-14, fossils, and layers of rock have been downloaded so they can “prove” it.
The humble and obedient see the same evidence. We are gifted to see that God has written and downloaded The Creation Program. We realize it is a huge, very long running 3-D movie. It’s amazingly realistic stage props are the basis for all that purports to be “science”.
All human programs have free will. Some choose to believe and obey The Loving Programmer, knowing we are part of this process: “From age to age, You gather a people to Yourself, so that from East to West a perfect offering may be made to the glory of Your Name.”
We who are blessed with being Catholic are closest to Him. Catholics obey His Programming Instructions most fully. Catholic Fundamentalists understand that The Sacraments have been given to us to provide greater access to The Loving Programmer.
