The Lord’s Prayer as soul therapy.

We often have improper thoughts. They sometimes spring unbidden into our minds. There is a remarkable cure. As soon as we become aware of an improper thought, simply say The Lord’s Prayer.

It is absolutely miraculous.

Why does it work?

The reason should be clear. Recall how Jesus’ presence drove thousands of demons from the herd of pigs. Improper thoughts are corrupting viruses. They are one or more of the seven deadly sins. These corrupting viruses rearrange or distort memory bits in our minds to draw us toward their illicit desires.

The Lord’s Prayer erases those tiny demons. The Lord’s Prayer is a plea to The Loving Programmer for programming assistance that drives corrupting viruses from our minds.

Try it the next time you have an improper thought. Just say, “Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

When you’ve reached “deliver us from evil”, the corrupting virus will be weakened, or gone. If it’s still there, say the prayer, again. Do so until the vileness is gone. Won’t take long.
