Jesus was as clear as He needed to be in Mt. 16: 18-20:
“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
That is about as simple as it gets.

Jesus founded One Church, appointing one man as its leader. He tells us how we will be able to know that The Only Church He Founded is His: “and the gates of hell shall not overcome it”.

In our day, 43,000 separate groups claim to be “Christian”. How do we tell them apart? How do we know which is The Only Church Jesus Founded?

Make this simple inquiry from Protestant questions #2. “The Only Church Jesus Founded automatically excommunicates anyone who helps procure an abortion. No exceptions. His Church obeys The Commandment ‘Thou shall not kill.’, except in self-defense. ‘the gates of hell’, have not prevailed over The Only Church Jesus Founded. Have they prevailed on that issue over our schism?”

We live in an age where life can be destroyed more easily than ever. Are any of the 43,000 schisms Pro-Life enough to prohibit married clergy from using birth control devices and chemicals that destroy the tiniest of unborn children?

In those groups, haven’t “the gates of hell” prevailed on this life and death issue?

Among Protestant questions #2 “If I am in a schism over which ‘the gates of hell’ have prevailed, have I been ‘loosed on earth’? Am I therefore, ‘loosed in Heaven’? Is my immortal soul destined for eternal pain?”

Some may wonder “If those in schisms say ‘Don’t worry about it.’, do they want my money more than they want my soul to get to Heaven?”
