Choices bring consequences

In every age, a few are very wealthy. In every age, the poorer are told. “You are just as smart, but are too oppressed to get ahead.”

The envious are invariably convinced to support those who promise to take from the rich and give to them. They are never quite bright enough to notice that the rich are supporting and controlling those whom the envious were told to support.

The Book of Wisdom was taken out of The Catholic Bible for describing the corruption of human systems of morality, government, and religion.
Wis 1:13-15; 2:23-24 tell us God did not make death, nor does he rejoice in the destruction of the living. For He fashioned all things that they might have being; and the creatures of the world are wholesome, and there is not a destructive drug among them nor any domain of the netherworld on earth, for justice is undying.
For God formed man to be imperishable; the image of His own nature He made him. But by the envy of the devil, death entered the world, and they who belong to his company experience it.

The first envy was Eve’s. “I’m as good as God.” In every age, including ours, those who worship self still say “I am just as good as God. There is no sin in me or in what I do.”

The unrepentant children of Eve choose to ignore the death and destruction they bring to helpless neighbors.

Why are the envious allowed to inflict harm on themselves and their neighbors? God wasn’t kidding when He gave us free will. Choices bring consequences.

He has made it so that the agonizing pains of hell and the perfect joys of Heaven are such that all ends in justice.
