Catholic Fundamentalism has several odd beliefs. One is that most European peoples are descended from The Twelve Tribes of Israel We reach that conclusion from the forced relocation of the Ten Northern Tribes by Syrians in 720 BC. The record in II Kings 18: 11-12 is clear:
“And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes: because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded and would not hear them, nor do them.”
This ties in with Today’s New Testament Reading from Col 3: 1-11, parts of which follow:
“Brothers and sisters: If you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Think of what is above, not of what is on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory.
Put to death, then, the parts of you that are earthly: immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and the greed that is idolatry. Because of these the wrath of God is coming upon the disobedient. By these you too once conducted yourselves, when you lived in that way. But now you must put them all away: anger, fury, malice, slander, and obscene language out of your mouths. Stop lying to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed, for knowledge, in the image of its creator.”
THEN, St. Paul describes the state in which true Christians live. Check ALL the names:
“Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all and in all.”
We know about Greeks and Jews. We know about “barbarians”. We know who Paul is talking about with “slave and free”. But, who are the “Scythians”?
Some Scythians became known as Goths. They began the great Tribes of Ostrogoths and Visigoths. Under names of Goths, Ostrogoths, and Visigoths the Scythians spread through Europe. The Ostrogoths were absorbed into many peoples. Visigoths moved into Spain. They were tested by Moslem conquest. After seven hundred years, the Visigothic people, led by their Most Catholic Majesties, drove the Moslems from Spain.
Then, the great Visigothic people sailed the seas and settled Central and South America. Most American Hispanics are Visigoths. Before that, they were Goths. Before that, they were known as Scythians, and mentioned by St. Paul.
Before that, the Scythians were known as “The Lost Tribes of Israel”.
Are any other “Scythians” from The Ten Lost Tribes of Israel in Europe? Yes. The Scots, in their Arbroath of 1320 told the Pope: “Most Holy Father and Lord, we know and from the chronicles and books of the ancients we find that among other famous nations our own, the Scots, has been graced with widespread renown. They journeyed from Greater Scythia by way of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Pillars of Hercules, and dwelt for a long course of time in Spain among the most savage tribes, but nowhere could they be subdued by any race, however barbarous. Thence they came, twelve hundred years after the people of Israel crossed the Red Sea, to their home in the west where they still live today. The Britons they first drove out, the Picts they utterly destroyed, and, even though very often assailed by the Norwegians, the Danes and the English, they took possession of that home with many victories and untold efforts; and, as the historians of old time bear witness, they have held it free of all bondage ever since. In their kingdom there have reigned one hundred and thirteen kings of their own royal stock, the line unbroken a single foreigner.”
And, there were two Pre-Roman Kingdoms of interest in England. Both the Kingdoms of Gad and Simon were named for sons of Jacob. They, too, were exiled into the North, maintained their tribal identities from the Ten Northern Tribes, and migrated West, into England. Many of their descendants live in the Unites States and Canada.
Why aren’t such fascinating, relevant history lessons taught in schools, especially for Hispanic and Scottish friends, and hundreds of millions of others with similar connections to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Because Babylon seeks to erase all connections with God, truth, and salvation.
