In John 8: 21-30, Jesus speaks to the Pharisees and all future Protestants. His Words tell us of our duty to believe, obey, and warn our Protestant friends and neighbors. Pharisees and Protestants don’t understand that their souls face grave danger.
Many friends and neighbors have been led into one of the 43,000 denominations invented by some ambitious Protestant man with a Marketing Plan. We realize that Pharisees and Protestants don’t understand as much as they think they do:
“Jesus said to the Pharisees: ‘I am going away and you will look for me, but you will die in your sin. Where I am going you cannot come.’ ” Where is He going? Among other places, He is going to The Last Supper!
There, He would provide Communion at the First Catholic Mass, making perfect sense out of His Great Winnowing Command “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” He repeated that six times in the short verses between John 6:53 and 6:66, a fact glossed over and diminished by the less obedient.
“So the Jews said, “He is not going to kill himself, is he, because he said, ‘Where I am going you cannot come’?” He said to them, “You belong to what is below, I belong to what is above. You belong to this world, but I do not belong to this world. That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.” By saying “I am” Jesus is saying He is God, “I am” being the words He spoke to Moses. “I AM” described The Father and The Son. Those who do not believe either “die in their sins”. The Protestants die because they “do not have life in” them if they have knowingly rejected His Body and Blood, obtainable only at Catholic Communion.
So they said to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “What I told you from the beginning. I have much to say about you in condemnation. But the one who sent me is true, and what I heard from him I tell the world.” One thing He repeatedly would “tell the world” was His Great Winnowing Command: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” He heard those words from The Father! And, He obediently“told the world.”! Pharisees and Protestants don’t understand. He has not given them, and they have not requested, the holy spiritual energy to make the necessary neural connections between belief and obedience!
“They did not realize that he was speaking to them of the Father. So Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I AM, and that I do nothing on my own, but I say only what the Father taught me.” Pharisees and Protestants don’t understand that “When you lift up the Son of Man. . .” those words do not only refer to The Crucifixion, but also, to The Elevation of The Consecrated Host!
“The one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, because I always do what is pleasing to him.” Because he spoke this way, many came to believe in him.”
Catholics “came to believe” in Him. Pharisees and Protestants don’t understand. They did not, and do not believe in Him fully enough to obey and pray for the spiritual strength to leave their man-invented groups for The Last Supper and the Catholic Masses of following generations so that they may eat His Body, drink His Blood and “have life in you”!
