Computer animation helps us see how real God is. Intelligent movie-goers easily imagine The Loving Programmer writing and downloading The Creation Program as a huge, long-running, really big-screen movie, in actual 3-D. The props and actors are made of 3-D pixels. We see it on The New Road to Rome.
Each of us human programs plays a starring role in our own performance. When our performance is over, our soul leaves our body. We meet The Critic and find out how well we followed The Director’s Directions.
Then, our soul goes to eternal joy or eternal suffering. Earthly choices determine our final resting place.
“So,” we ask, “What is our ‘soul’?”
Our soul is made in The Image of God. God programs two types of programs, living and dead. So does our soul. Our own soul is a “Mini-Programmer” that began downloading nutrients in our mother’s womb at the moment of conception. Brain, blood, and bone become part of us because human souls have been programmed with the power to download what we need to grow. Sometimes, we download more than we need, and get fat.
There is a lesson! Souls, like computer programs and programmers, may be corrupted by disobeying The Loving Programmer’s Operating Instructions.
In order to make our souls fit for Heaven, He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies wanted us to be able to remove the corruptions from our soul. So, He ordained priests in The Only Church He Founded with that awesome power. John 20:23 is clear: “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”
Those who sincerely seek forgiveness in The Only Church He Founded will have their souls’ stains purged in Purgatory. That purifying process make us fit for Heaven. That is where The Loving Programmer, The Program, and Programming live among the Saints and Angels and the Blessed Mother of He Who Made Salvation Possible.
