Early on, Jesus warned about the pits of Protestantism. In every age, many publicly protest when His teaching threatens their cash flows.

Mt 15:1-2, 10-14 tells us about early protesters: Some Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem and said, “Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They do not wash their hands when they eat a meal.” He summoned the crowd and said to them, “Hear and understand. It is not what enters one’s mouth that defiles the man; but what comes out of the mouth is what defiles one.” Then his disciples approached and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees took offense when they heard what you said?”
He said in reply, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

Wow! Jesus spoke strongly about Protestantism! The established religion was more interested in protecting cash flows than in His truth. That same desire separates the humble and obedient in every age.

Catholics humbly obey: “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. What you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.”
Catholics are humbly grateful to The Church Jesus Founded for giving us what we need to live: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

Those simple passages separate sheep from goats, Disciples from pharisees, Catholics from protesters. He was clear about all who ignore Him: “Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. If a blind man lead a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

We ask in sincere prayer: Are we to help, or to “let them alone”? Please, let us know what you think.
