In one way, “Protestantism rocks!”  The 45,000 Marketing Plan Denominations, each invented by an ambitious Protestant man with a Marketing Plan, all “rock” when considering what Jesus said one time, to one man:

“Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

When faced with those thirty seven words in two short sentences, Protestantisms’ professionals produce paragraphs, chapters, and maybe whole books  denying Jesus’ clear words.  It’s easy to see why.  They do not want donors asking:  “Why should I give money to one of 45,000 different denominations when Jesus, The Living Son of God, only founded The Catholic Church with St. Peter as the first Pope?”

Protestantism’s perpetual reply:   “Oh, don’t pay any attention to that.  Jesus  just didn’t understand the meaning of the word ‘rock’.”

The potential donor might ask, in astonishment, “You mean Jesus didn’t know what He was talking about?  Are you saying that Jesus didn’t know how to speak clearly?”

“Oh, Jesus was almost always right about everything!  He was just wrong to say to, and about, Peter “. . . and on this rock I build My Church.”  He was only wrong about that.   Well, there is one other thing Jesus was wrong about.  He should not have said, especially eighteen times, “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”  He just should not have gone on and on about that.  It confuses people.”

“Was Jesus right about anything?”

“Yes!  Jesus was right about everything He said and taught that didn’t refer to The Catholic Church or to Catholic Communion.  He should have kept quiet about that!  Now, give me some money!”
