Contradictions lead to mental illness.

Contradictions lead to mental illness.  Contradictions cause short-circuits.  Short-circuits cause little dead places in the brain.   Mental illness comes from living with contradictions.

Love and truth are replaced with hate and lies.  Some contradictions:

“I am a homosexual.   Moslems who believe they should execute homosexuals should be welcomed to America.”

“I am an environmentalist.  I sincerely believe that overpopulation is a problem.  I do not want to kill myself to make the world a better place.”

“I believe that education helps people.  Most private schools do a better job than most Public Schools.  Still, parents should not be allowed to have vouchers to send their children where they will get a better education.”

“I believe in Jesus.  I believe in The Bible.  But, I ignore His clear call to Catholic Communion that The Bible repeats 20 times:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

“I believe that Jesus is always right.  But, I ignore the words He spoke to one man, one time, about One Church:  ‘Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

“I think abortion is wrong.   But, I think it is OK for people to use abortion-inducing birth control pills and implants.  Those babies are too small to matter to me.”

Contradiction cause more contradictions.   Contradictions keep our minds from working logically.  Contradictions lead to mental illness.  Human minds simply cannot work well when they are confused and damaged by contradictions.  Contradictions lead to death.  Contradictions begin with “I know more than God and His Church.”

All of us are far better at spotting contradictions in other people’s thoughts than in our own.
