Revelation 20: 7-8 tells us what would happen when Luther ended “the thousand year reign” of The Catholic Church over Western Christendom:   “When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to lead astray all the nations in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, and mobilize them for war, his armies being as many as the sands of the sea.”
Those countless quadrillions are the third of the angels who rebelled and were thrown out of Heaven.  They lead the souls of the vain to disobedience and death.
9.  “They came swarming over the entire country and besieged the camp of the saints, which is the beloved City.  When Luther was released from the abyss, every evil began to attack The Church.  All the vain and disobedient tried to do away with every Catholic on earth.

But fire rained down on them from Heaven and consumed them.”  As soon as their souls left their bodies, the damned were sent to eternal suffering.  Their hate-filled leader wanted his followers to suffer eternally:

10.  “Then the devil, who led them astray, was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where the beast and the false prophet are, and their torture will not come to an end, day or night, for ever and ever.”

11.  “Then I saw a great white throne and the One who was sitting on it.  In his presence, earth and sky vanished, leaving no trace.”  The Creation Program was erased.  Only souls remained.  Judgment was pronounced:

12.  “I saw the dead, great and small alike, standing in front of his throne the books lay open. And another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged from what was written in the books, as their deeds deserved.”  Some are blessed to understand that thoughts and words are, in themselves, deeds.  Each of our souls will be judged on what we have thought, said, and done.

13-15:  “The sea gave up all the dead who were in it:  Death and Hades were emptied of the dead that were in them; and every one was judged as his deeds deserved. Then Death and Hades were hurled into the burning lake. This burning lake is the second death;  and anybody whose name could not be found written in the book of life was hurled into the burning lake.”

It is best to be Catholic.
