What is the point of Protestantism? Everyone sees that Protestantism avoids three teachings from Jesus.
1. Protestants twist or ignore, “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
2. Protestants also avoid the clear call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” Those words were repeated four more times in The Last Supper Accounts. St. Paul mentioned them twice more in 1 Corinthians. We see clearly that all Protestants ignore the most-repeated instruction Jesus gave!
3. And, Protestants avoid the words Jesus spoke to those whom He ordained with the power to forgive sins: “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”
What is the point of Protestantism? What is the point of saying “I believe in Jesus, but I ignore Him when I want.”?
All 45,000 Protestant Denominations agree that those three teachings from Jesus are wrong! Protestants all insist Jesus did not found One Church. Protestants all insist that priests in The Only Church Jesus Founded cannot change bread and wine into His Actual Body and Blood. Protestants are united in believing that Catholic priests cannot forgive sins.
It gets weirder! Denying the clear teachings of Jesus is their only point of unity!
So, the question: What is the point of Protestantism? What is the point of saying, “I believe in Jesus, but I ignore much of what He said!”
The question is profound. What is the point of Protestantism? What is the point of saying “We believe in Jesus, but we ignore several things He clearly taught!”
