For two thousand years, Catholic Teaching has obeyed God.  Catholic priests have been required to “live as Jesus”.  They are celibate, poor, and obedient.  They connect us with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Jacob rested his head on a rock.  In a vision, he saw “The Ladder to Heaven” with God’s angels going up and down.  “In solemn wonder he cried out: “How awesome is this shrine!  This is nothing else but an abode of God, and that is the gateway to heaven!”

He prophesied what Jesus would say about the “gateway to Heaven”.   “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies gave “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” to Peter.  He did not give “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” to anyone else.  There is no way around that.

45,000 different denominations did not begin with obedience to Jesus.  They each began with an ambitious man who saw an opportunity for gain.

Many found fame and fortune by pandering.   “You want to destroy The Catholic Church and steal its property?  You may do so.”  “You want to kill Indians and take their land?  It’s your ‘Christian duty’!”  “You want to be promiscuous?  No problem, if you love each other!”  “You do not want to be burdened with children?  It is all right to use abortion-inducing birth control and ‘therapeutic’ abortion’!”  They assault the family:  “If you truly love another, you may divorce and remarry.”

Children are confused by divorce.  They  are unable to guide themselves as well as if their parents had followed Catholic teaching and provided a safe, secure home.   Children of divorce are more vulnerable to temptation and more likely to sink into sin, drugs, and death.

Catholic teaching has obeyed God.  The Only Church He Founded still stands firmly for chastity, marriage, and family.  “Those things keep me from doing what I want.”, say those who leave The Church and avail themselves of the usual excuses for doing so.
