Did Jesus predict Protestantism?  We consider Mark 3:22-30.

“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.  And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.”

In The Lord’s Prayer, Jesus told us to ask God that “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done.” His Kingdom on Earth did come.  Jesus Decreed Into Being The Only Church He Founded by saying to one man, one time:

“Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Did Jesus predict Protestantism?  “And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand;  that is the end of him.”

Jesus told us how that would happen:  “But no one can enter a strong man’s house to plunder his property unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house.”

That is exactly did happen!  Greedy men realized:  “The Catholic Church is using millions of acres to support monasteries, convents, churches, orphanages, hospitals, and accommodations for the poor.”

They knew:  “If we can provide any excuse that ‘ties up’ The Catholic Church, we can confiscate all those properties and activities for ourselves!  We can be billionaires!”

They hired those who wanted fame, fortune, and sex enough to attack The Catholic Church.  Hirelings demonized The Church to those who would “plunder” the “property” of The Only  Church Jesus Founded.

Free will gave all the freedom to choose.  He separated His Obedient Sheep from those who chose to persecute and “plunder”.

Did those who chose to “plunder” also “blaspheme” against The Holy Spirit Whom Jesus promised would guide The Only Church He Founded?

“Amen, I say to you, all sins and all blasphemies that people utter will be forgiven them.  But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin.”

Is Protestantism merely a way to separate His obedient sheep from their counterparts?
