A hard question:  Does Protestantism make sense?  Jesus said that He was fulfilling Prophecy when He spoke of His impending death:

John 13:  16-20 tells us:  “What Scripture says must be fulfilled, ‘Someone who shares My table rebels against Me.’  I tell you this now, before it happens, so that when it does happen you may believe that I am He.”

Judas was “trusted completely” with the money collected from donors.  He betrayed Jesus, fulfilling the Prophecy.

In verse 26, a prophecy of Jesus, Himself, is fulfilled.

“It is the one to whom I give the piece of bread that I have dipped in the dish.” So he dipped the morsel and handed it to Judas, son of Simon the Iscariot.   Judas is also “the one who ate My food”:

Judas thereby “raised his heel against” Jesus.  That Prophecy that goes back to the beginning:

Genesis, 3:15:

All of Protestantism accepts the validity of those prophecies being fulfilled!  What is astonishing is that all of Protestantism then ignores what Jesus actually Decreed about The Only Church He Personally Founded:

“. . I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. . .”

Protestantism rejects The Only Church Jesus Founded!  Protestantism believes the Prophecies and NOT He Who Fulfilled them!  Protestantism claims to “serve Jesus” even as it ignores: “No servant is greater than his Master.”

Does Protestantism make sense?
