Jesus “came to divide”.  Each of us will either be in the “wheat” gathered into Heaven or among the weeds thrown onto the fire.  The obedient are among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

1. The disobedient refuse to obey The Church-Founding Decree of Jesus:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

2.  His obedient followers also obey His clear call to Catholic Communion: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”  That teaching was so important He repeated it fourteen times!

3.  What about our “somewhat obedient” Protestant friends?  The Only Church Jesus Founded teaches that “Those of good will who are not Catholic through no fault of their own, may be saved.”

Jesus describes what happens to the “somewhat obedient” in Luke 12: 47-48.  “The servant who knows what His Master wants but has not even started to carry out those wishes, will receive very many strokes of the lash.”

What of those who did not know? “The one who did not know, but has acted in such a way that he deserves a beating, will be given fewer strokes.”

4.  What of those who willfully choose to lead people away from being in The Only Church Jesus Founded?  They refuse to receive His Actual Body and Blood through The Miracle of Transubstantiation in every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.   They refuse having “life in you”. They are described by Jesus as “blind guides”. He promises they will “fall into the pit”.

We remember the Circles of Hell described in Dante’s Inferno. Those who are there preferred disobedience to obedience.

Catholics pray that all will respect Jesus enough to be in The Only Church He Founded, receive His Body and Blood, and “have life in” them!

Jesus “came to divide”.
