Catholics focus on soul. Protestants focus on spirit.

Catholics realize we have a soul and a spirit. Our souls and spirits are tiny! Catholics focus on soul. Protestants focus on spirit.

Our body is like a car. Our spirit is like the driver of the car. Our soul is like the owner of the car. The owner can tell the driver where to go.

Our spirit likes to do what it likes. It loves gratification. It loves going places. It loves to do and buy things. Our spirit loves friends, approval, praise, money, and power. Spirits like to feel important.

When our body dies, our spirit disappears.

Our soul lives forever. He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies judges souls. Jesus will admit some souls into The Eternal Joy of Heaven. Others will suffer unending agonies.

Catholics know the only way to get to Heaven is to be among those whom Our Judge identified: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Catholics are blessed! Our souls keep our spirits from Protestant vanity. “You are a good person! We love you! You will have many, many friends here! We will praise you and promise that you will get into Heaven.”

There is an unspoken law: “You must pay us for our praises and promises.” Our spirit likes that! Our spirit loves approving friends on earth!

Our soul is made in “the image of God”. Souls who control their spirits choose to obey God. They may get to Heaven. Jesus left one set of “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” with The Only Church He Founded when He Decreed to one man, one time:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics focus on soul. Protestants focus on spirit.

Souls live forever. Spirits die and disappear.
