Pro-Life people often become Catholic because Catholics prefer life to death. Do Protestants?
For many of us “researching” Church History helped us understand that Calvin, the inventor of the Marketing Plan that morphed into many Marketing Plan Denominations, had burned over 70 people at the stake for disagreeing with him.
Can a valid “Christian” faith be founded by a man who publicly disobeys “Love your neighbor as yourself.” and also violates “Thou shall not kill.”?
Luther had caused the deaths of countless German peasants. First, he led them into denying The Catholic Church. Some would not obey him. He had the nobles turn their trained armies on them. “Kill the German pigs!” he told them. It is estimated that up to 300,000 were killed in the vicious Peasant’s War.
Pro-Life people understand that an entire Continent of helpless, Stone Age Indians had been wiped out by Land-Grabbing Protestants with Iron Age weapons. They killed countless millions of North American Indians and stole their land. To this day, they have never said, “We’re sorry.”
We compare 250 years of such slaughter to the comparatively blessed occupation of Catholic-Settled lands that STILL have 92% of their Catholic Church-protected populations with Indian DNA.
Today, Pro-Life people find that billions of unborn babies are being killed by abortion-inducing birth control because Protestantism had confused and weakened Catholic Teaching: “Life must be protected from conception until natural death.”
Tragically, Protestant denominations have became too afraid of losing donors to clearly condemn that awful source of death to the tiniest, most helpless neighbors. They did not even dare to protect the lives of unborn children of their own congregations and clergy.
Can anyone be blamed for finding peace and consistency in The Only Church Jesus Founded when by saying one time, to one man:
“Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.” ?
