Catholics believe Jesus always told the truth. Many Protestants also believe that Jesus always told the truth.
Catholics differ from Protestants. We believe we should obey Jesus and all the truths He shared with us. Catholics obey The Only Church-Founding Decree of Jesus:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Protestants disobey The Only Church-Founding Decree of Jesus.
Why?
There are three possible reasons that Protestants disobey Jesus. Protestants may believe:
1. Jesus was not telling the truth when He Decreed The Only Church He Founded Into Being.
or, they believe:
2. Jesus was telling the truth, but disobeying Him is not enough to keep us out of Heaven.
or, Protestants believe:
3. Jesus was telling the truth, but the truth does not matter as much as our opinions about things.

Some Protestants do not believe that Jesus always told the truth. Others believe that disobeying Jesus will not keep them out of Heaven. Some believe that Jesus loves them so much He will let them into Heaven if they are happy with what they do.
Catholics see what all Protestants overlook. We see what Jesus promises to the willfully disobedient!
“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.”
That is serious! We know Jesus Fulfilled The Prophecies, at quadrillions to one odds. We know that He always tells the truth.
How may we sanely take the risk of disobeying? He Who always tells the truth promises that “the wrath of God rests upon” the disobedient?
It cannot be wise to disobey Jesus and His Only Church-Founding Decree.
