Many people suffer from depression. Depression is caused by thinking of the awful mistakes we have made and by the good we failed to do. Jesus gave Catholics the only cure for depression.

Isaiah’s Prophecies help us understand.

Isiah 65:17-19, “Thus says the LORD: Lo, I am about to create new heavens and a new earth; The things of the past shall not be remembered or come to mind.”

The “new earth” is The Kingdom of God.

Jesus Spoke The Kingdom of God Into Being the moment He Decreed: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Jesus Decreed a new “Kingdom” on earth. It provided “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” above His New Kingdom on earth.

Those blessed with Wisdom knew: “Jesus fulfilled The Prophecies! Jesus must be Truth! He left ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ in His New Kingdom on earth! I want those ‘keys’! I can’t open the gates of Heaven without them!”

Our Protestant neighbors live in depression. They are haunted by hurtful things they have done and by the good they failed to do. They are like Noah’s neighbors.

“What’s that nutty Noah doing? He says he’s obeying God! He’s crazy!”

Protestants say the same thing about Catholics, today. “Those Catholics think they have to obey Jesus! They’re crazy. All anyone has to do is ‘believe’ in Jesus! If we believe in Jesus, He has to let us into Heaven!”

Noah’s neighbors drowned in sin.

Catholics know: One of the “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” is Absolution. Jesus gave Catholic priests this power: “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

Catholics see that Absolution fulfills Isaiah’s Prophecy: “The things of the past shall not be remembered or come to mind.”

For Catholics, “there shall always be rejoicing and happiness”.

Jesus gave Catholics the only cure for depression.
