God: Victorious in Heaven. Mary: Victorious on Earth.

God threw the disobedient angels out of Heaven. They fought to stay. God was stronger.

God could have “erased” them from Creation.

Why did He let those disobedient creatures continue to exist?

+

They had tested His strength. Now, they test ours.

We are free to choose between God, nothing, or anything in between. We choose to obey or disobey Him.

+

Who would win the war for every soul? God decided to find out. Each of Adam’s children would direct their own actions, think their own thoughts, and write their own script.

God gave us Prophecies. God would take human form and come to earth. The Prophecies were recorded and passed down.

+

After thousands of years, it was time for The Messiah. He had to be born at The Prophesied Time, Place of The Predicted Tribe and House.

+

God sent Gabriel to ask Mary if She would obey God. Gabriel began by saying “Hail (Mary), full of Grace, The Lord is with thee.” The rest of Luke 1: 26-38 tells us all we need to know about their conversation.

Would Mary agree to obey God?

Every conscious being in Creation focused on Mary and Gabriel! All Creation held its breath! What would Mary say?

Mary said “Yes.”! “I will be the handmaid of The Lord.”

The Choirs of Heaven burst into rejoicing! God had won on earth as He had won in Heaven!

+

If Mary had not said “Yes.” God would have lost.

Catholics recognize how important Mary was!

Lumen Gentium: “The Father of mercies willed that the Incarnation should be preceded by assent on the part of the predestined mother, so that just as a woman (Eve) had a share in the coming of death, so also should a woman contribute to the coming of life.”

Catholic Teaching echoes what the early Fathers of The Church understood!

St. Irenaeus had said of Mary: “Being obedient she became the cause of salvation for herself and for the whole human race.”

EVERYTHING depended upon Mary.

Because Mary said “Yes.”, those who respect God have been able to gratefully obey The Only Church Jesus was able to Decree into Being because His Blessed Mother said “Yes.”

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

+

Mary said “Yes.” to God.

Because of Mary, we may say “Yes.” If we do, we have the only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Mary’s “Yes.” allowed to be placed on earth.

Catholics have an undying gratitude to The Blessed Mother of God for allowing Him to fulfill The Prophecies.

God: Victorious in Heaven. Mary: Victorious on Earth.
