Our soul and spirit live amid the millions of memories in our mind. Our soul and spirit move up, down, and sideways through the stacks of memories in our minds.
Our spirit pulls us toward deadly desires. They are filed away in the lower levels of our mind.
…
Our soul is different. It is “made in the image of God”. So, it wants to be in agreement with God.
Catholics’ souls strive to make our spirit obey God. Self-centered people disagree. “Our highest goal is doing what we want.”
…
Every Spirit loves that idea! “I want to do what I want and get into Heaven!”
Catholics know: our soul must take control! “Jesus told us of the only people He will let into Heaven: ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’ If I let my spirit disobey God, then I cannot get into Heaven.”
…
The human spirit hates to hear that! It wants to build its own plans from our memories. Our spirit wants to decide what we think, say, and do. “I must be free! / Free to be me! / Whee!”
The Profiteers of Protestantism lead the souls of their donors to give into some of their spirits’ desires. They all encourage their donors to disobey The Church-Founding Word of Jesus:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
They make a living by convincing donors; “Give your spirit freedom from those Catholic rules! You are so smart and good! Jesus has to let you into Heaven.”

Catholics know! The soul can and must control our spirit. “I will live forever! I want access to the only ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that Jesus left on earth! You, my rebellious spirit, will obey my soul as I obey Jesus!
God gave every soul the power to control its spirit and be among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”
Our most important job is keeping our spirit from building improper thoughts and plans from our many, many memories. Controlling sinful desires puts us among the obedient “friends” of Jesus at Judgment.
And, for all eternity.
