Does our generation come after “the thousand year reign”?

What is “the thousand year reign” described in Revelation, 20? It did follow 300 years Catholic persecution from Nero until Diolcetian. Then, “an angel came down from Heaven”. He locked up the devil for “a thousand years”.

Is that when Constantine came? At the beginning of “The Thousand Year Reign”, Constantine “locked up” enemies of The Church. He began by making it legal to be Catholic with The Edict of Milan, in 313 AD.

For the nest thousand years, Catholic Teaching spread through, and beyond, Roman lands. Saints like Ambrose, Augustine, and Aquinas formalized Catholic Teachings.

During that “Thousand Year Reign”, holy men in monasteries spent lifetimes copying Bibles by hand. It took twenty men a year to copy each Bible. Twenty more men raised the sheep and turned their skins into parchment. Each hand-written Bible cost almost a million dollars!

In “The Thousand Year Reign” of The Catholic Church, a united Christendom made that huge investment in providing Bibles to the world.

For “a thousand years”, The Word of God was given to the world!

Then, in Rev. 20: 7, “The Second Battle for the end”! Then, “Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive all the nations in the four quarters of the earth.”.

“The Thousand Year Reign” of The Catholic Church over a united Christendom ended.

Vain men rejected The Catholic Church. Hus, Luther, Calvin, Knox, and others invented denominations of their own. Many decided to abandon The Body of Christ on earth!

The Great Test began! Each of us had to decide! “Will I choose to obey Jesus and The Holy Word with Which He Spoke The Only Church He Founded Into Being?

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

We know that “everyone will be judged according to the way they have lived.” (Rev 20: 14)

Those who obey Jesus may be forever in Heaven, among: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

What fate does God promise to the willfully disobedient? John: 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God’s wrath.”

Catholics thank God that we join belief with obedience!
