Protestantism: “We are Christians who disobey Christ!”

Catholics know that every Word of Jesus is Truth.   Catholics try to obey all His Words!  His Words tell us of the only people whose souls may be admitted into Heaven:  “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

That Word of Christ divides all humanity into two groups.

1. Catholics.  Catholics obey Christ’s Church-Founding Word:   “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

2. Protestants.  Protestantism: “We are Christians who disobey Christ!”

~

Protestants live in that contradiction!  They make two mistakes.

1. “I disobey Jesus when I disagree with His Words.”

2. “I have good reasons to disobey Jesus!”

~

What are the Protestant reasons for disobeying Jesus?

1. Selective quotation is popular among Protestants.  They focus on fragments of Jesus’ Words that support their opinions.  “I believe in Jesus so He has to let me into Heaven.”  That is very popular among Protestants.

2. Real or imaginary mistakes are said to have been made by individual Catholics.  Such allegations are excuses to disobey the Church Jesus Spoke Into Being.  “I heard that Catholics did ______!  I will not be Catholic!”

~

Variations of those two excuses provide all the Protestant justifications for disobeying Christ.  Catholics see farther ahead.  We understand a great truth.

“Catholic Teachings must always be right!  Why?  Because Jesus Promised:  ‘.  .  and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it’!”

Catholics know:  “That is a Promise from Jesus!  His Promise means there can be no error in any Catholic Teaching!”

~

It is an insult to Jesus to think He was ever wrong about anything!  Protestantism is that vanity.  That vanity becomes an awful arrogance!

“These Words of Jesus are not worthy of my obedience!  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”
