Catholics have a duty to share Catholic Teaching. Catholics do not realize how confused Protestant Thinking is!
This is a perfect example of Protestant Thinking! It was written by a Protestant to justify disobeying This Word of Jesus.
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
The paragraph that follows was written to justify disobedience to That Word of Jesus. It is sincere! It is worth reading carefully. It gives some understanding of how Confusion rules Protestant thinking!
~Reasons that one Protestant disobeys Jesus:
“Jesus says, John 14:15, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:21 “He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself in him.” Now please look at the 10 commandments in Exodus 20 and see if you are obeying God. Jeremiah 11:4 “Obey my voice and do them, according to all which I command you, so ye shall be my people and I will be your God.” 1 John 2:3 ,4 “He that saith I know him and keepeth not my commandments is a LIAR AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM.”
~
It is incredible! A Protestant was trying to defend their willful disobedience to A Word of God. What did they actually do?
They quote Ten Commandments, Three Passages from St. John, and One Passage from Jeremiah. Each of those Passages tells us to “obey” God! Read them, again!
That Confusion is common, but rarely as obvious, among all Protestants.
~
That confusion makes us wonder! What happens to Protestant souls at Judgment? Obviously, they are confused! Obviously, they do disobey Many Words of Jesus!
Ignorance may be an excuse for some disobedience. Actual confusion may excuse some disobedience.
At what point does disobedience keep Protestant souls from being forever among: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”?
~
A possible answer! As soon as Protestants know they are in disobedience, they may plan to go to Judgment and blame their clergyperson! “Pastor Bob (or Bobette) confused me. It’s not my fault that I disobeyed Any Word of Jesus! It is theirs!”
It is wrong to disobey Any Word of Jesus. It is worse to willfully disobey Any Word of Jesus. “Cleverly Justified Disobedience” may be worst of all!
“Cleverly Justified Disobedience” may be more common than Catholics realize!
