Catholic Fundamentalism; something old leads to something new:

Catholics see how simple things are! The Universe was Spoken Into Being by The Word of God. We see, hear, smell, feel, and think about Words that God has Spoken Into Being.

In Catholic Fundamentalism; something old leads to something new:

Something old: We are made “in the image of God”.

Something new: We can also “speak things into being.”

There are Two Kinds of Words: God’s Words and our words.

~

Catholics know that God and people use Three Kinds of Words.

1. “Nouns” are words that label “Things”.

2. “Verbs” describe “Movements of Things in Time”. (At this moment in time, we are moving thoughts around in our mind to see if we agree that “Verbs” describe “Movements of Things in Time”!)

3. “Describers” are adjectives and adverbs. They describe “Things” and their “Movements in Time”.

~

We think with “Words”. We put “Words” together to create thoughts. Thoughts become opinions. Opinions become beliefs. We “create” them in the mini-universe that is our mind! We try to make sense out of every thought in our mind. We have lots of thoughts!

We all try to see as much of The Universe as we can. So, we think “thoughts” about God’s Words with our words.

~

There are two kinds of “thoughts”.

1. “Obey Words of God Thoughts” align the thoughts in our mind with God’s Words. We get rid of thoughts that lead to disobeying Any Word of God.

2. “Disobey Words of God Thoughts” put our thoughts in line with what we want. We may choose to put “Disobey Words of God Thoughts” before “Obey Words of God Thoughts”.

All of our willful “Disobey Words of God Thoughts” are violations of The First Commandment Words of God!

Something old: “Thou shall have no other gods before Me.”

Something new: The “Disobey Words of God Thoughts” are all idols.

~

All reality fits into one sentence: “We either put ourselves before God or we strive to obey Every Word of God.”
