A mystery for Catholics!  Why did the “second beast” have its name changed?

A mystery for Catholics!  Why did the “second beast” have its name changed?  It name appears in Rev 13: 11.  “I saw a second beast appear from the ground”.

The “second beast” helped “the first beast”.   It “extended its authority everywhere”.  The “second beast” was a master at Marketing, Advertising,  and Public Relations!  “it was able to win over the people of the world”!

Every company wants great advertising and marketing!  That’s what builds up a great brand!  The “second beast” built up a “brand” so powerful that people were forced to buy!

“He compelled everyone – small or great, rich and poor, slave and citizen – to be branded on the right hand or on the forehead.”

His “brand” took over the world’s markets!  He had the power of the “first beast” behind him!  The “second beast” soon “made it illegal for anyone to buy or sell anything unless he had been branded with the name of he beast or with the number of its name”!

The “first beast” and the “second beast” combined political power with marketing, advertising, and sales!

Then, the “second beast” had a name change!  That’s risky!  People do not like to see changes. “Was something wrong?  Did the ‘second beast’ make a mistake?  A mystery for Catholics!  Why did the “second beast” have its name changed?

God changed its name to help Catholics understand!  In Rev 19:20, the “second beast” had its name changed to “the false prophet”.

In Rev. 20: 10,  “the beast and the false prophet” end up in the “torture” of hell, forever.

~

The name change helps Catholics understand!  Some people make a living by getting people to disobey The Only Church Founding Decree of Jesus Christ!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

When we see that the “second beast” is really a “false prophet”, we understand!
