God created Creatures. What do the creatures in God’s Creation do? They “create” things. Therefore: The Creator created “creators”.
Birds “create” nests. Beavers “create” dams. Sheep “create” wool. People “create” cloth made of wool.
People “create” many thoughts. We turn them into words, things, and actions.
God’s Creation shows us a Universal Truth! “God’s creatures are created to create!”
~
How do God’s creatures create things? We re-arrange things and forces created by God. More intelligent creatures create more complicated things!
Chimpanzees “create” tools. They turn pieces of stone into “hammers” to help open nuts.
A symphony orchestra “creates” harmony by moving sound waves through the air in complicated rhythms.
~
We spend our lives “creating”. We build beliefs out of thoughts. We describe our thoughts with words. Every word and movement reflects thoughts that we created in our mind.
Vanity leads us to believe that “My thoughts are right!”
~
Catholics remember thoughts we used to believe. We are amazed! “How could I have been so wrong?”
That tells us! We may soon find that many of our thoughts today are wrong.
That’s important! It keeps us from taking our thoughts too seriously.
God’s Thoughts and Words are always right. Catholics try to get our thoughts in line with God’s Words!
~
Our most complicated creation? Children! Two tiny cells, smaller than a grain of salt, form tiny babies. Parents create ways to take care of the children they raise.
Catholics raise their children with This Thought:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Every Teaching of Jesus Christ is a “Divine Thought” we should strive to obey. Every day of our lives!
May we be blessed to guide our thoughts with this! “Every day / pray and obey!”
