Ambitious people saw the possibilities! Those Inventions allowed leaders to organize mass production of cheap, uniform products.
“They used bricks for stone, and bitumen for mortar.” Uniform, mass-produced “bricks” replaced primitive materials used in the Stone Ages! Naturally occurring ‘bitumen” was a form of “asphalt”. That naturally occurring chemical oozed out of some of the ground that God had made.

In following ages, successful conquerors put improvements on those inventions to work. For 5,000 years, newer varieties of “molds” and “heat-treating” allowed people to produce more goods, and weapons with copper, bronze, iron, steel, and plastic.
Nearly every thing that every person uses is made from variations of the first “heat-treating” used in the first “brick molds”! Catholics understand. “Molds”, “heat-treating”, and “chemicals” make the greatest inventions in History!
For 5,000 years, people have won wars and conquered continents with better “molds” and “heat-treating” that “tempered” everything from clay to steel!
Those Inventions required more inventions! Materials and heat had to be produced and moved in huge quantities! Food and housing for workers had to be provided. And, more factories!
~Gluttons for Power took over. “Then”, they did what they always do!~
“Then they said, ‘Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the sky, and so make a name for ourselves; otherwise we shall be scattered all over the earth.’”
Every government is taken over by Gluttons for Power. Their grandiose projects “make a name for” themselves. Those projects keep them in power! Endless pyramids, walls, canals, roads, temples, and palaces are built by Gluttons for Power!
Gluttons know! “Slaves are the cheapest way to build more useless monuments to keep Me in Power.”

Faith, Freedom, and Families are attacked by Gluttons for Power. They despise God and their neighbors. “Everyone should be my slave!”
Gluttons don’t want workers and their families living in houses. They want slaves! They go wherever they can find the least expensive work camps.

For 2,000 years, The Catholic Church has understood! “The only good that progress can do is by helping Faith, Freedom, and Families.”
Another fact shines in History! Gluttons never think about the eternal consequences of willfully disobeying He Who will judge their immortal souls!
May our thoughts be molded around being among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”!
May our minds be “tempered” by resisting every disobedience to God so that our immortal souls avoid an eternity of the most painful “heat-treating” in creation!
