God appeared as a “Cloud” in “The Tent of Meeting”.
Exodus 40:34-38. “Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.”
The “Cloud” was so dense that even Moses could not get into the “Tent”!
Nehemiah, 9:12 tells us more. “By day you led them with a pillar of cloud, and by night with a pillar of fire to give them light on the way they were to take.”

When The Temple in Jerusalem was completed, God appeared. Again, He was in the form of a “Cloud”.
1 Kings 8:11. “And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled his temple.”

Daniel 7:13 mentions “clouds” “I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
The “Cloud” appears at the end of The Bible.
Revelation 14:14 tells us what color the “Cloud” is! It is illuminated with Its Own Light! “And I saw, and behold a white cloud; and upon the cloud one sitting like to the Son of man, having on his head a crown of gold, and in his hand a sharp sickle.”

“Clouds” are complicated! They are made out of solid atoms that have combined into water molecules. They are lighter than air. Clouds take many forms in the sky. Rain, snow, sleet, hail, lightning, and thunder come out of clouds.
We know that God appeared “as” a “cloud”, “on” a “cloud” and “with” a “cloud”!

Question 1. “When I see a ‘cloud’, should I wonder if God is ‘in’ or ‘on’ or ‘with’ it?”
Answer. “Catholics answer: “Yes.” We know! The Glory of God appears in every “cloud”.
