God has given us what we need to defend our souls. It is not easy. Every day, we are attacked by the same demons: pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth.

Question 1. “How does The Bible tell us to defend our soul?”
Answer: St. Paul tells us that God has given us “armor” to protect our souls. Ephesians 6:10-12:
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Question 2: “What is ‘the whole armor of God’?
Answer: First, the Catholic Sacraments! Baptism washes original sin from our soul. Confession and Absolution keep sin away. Communion allows us to receive The life-giving Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Confirmation allows us to fully receive The Holy Spirit. Holy Orders allow God’s Chosen Priests to be Ordained with The Power to Provide His Sacraments. The Last Rites allow remaining sins to be erased from our soul.
Catholic Teachings, along with the Prayers and Intercession of God’s Saints and Angels in Heaven and on earth, are “the whole armor of God”.

Question 3: Where do we find “the whole armor of God”.
Answer: In His Armory!

Question 4: “How do we get into His Armory?
Answer: We can’t get in without the “keys”!

Question 5: “Where do we find the “keys” to His Armory?
Answer: God left the “keys” to The Only Church He Spoke Into Being with His Holy Word! “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Question 6: “This ‘armor of God’ is not made of bronze or steel. What is it made from?”
Answer: The “armor of God” is made of the living echoes of His Word. Some of those “pieces” of God’s “armor” may be smaller than electrons! We put that “armor” around our soul!
