Catholics love to see details about Jesus! #8.

There are important ‘details’  in Mark 4:26-34!   “Jesus said to the crowds:  ‘This is how it is with the Kingdom of God;   it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land and would sleep and rise night and day and the seed would sprout and grow, he knows not how.”

Detail #1:   No person “knows how” God’s Creation Program works!  We only know that it does.

“Of its own accord the land yields fruit, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.  And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once, for the harvest has come.”

Detail #2:  “Every Human Program on earth lives on the ‘fruits’ produced by God’s “Plant Programs”.    Our food comes from those able to work effectively with God’s Plant Programs.   Good farmers and growers are important in His Creation Program.  They “harvest” promptly so food is not wasted.”

“It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth.”

Detail #3:  “The smallest seeds used by farmers and growers include those of the “Mustard Program”.   God spoke that tiny, flavorful part of The Plant Program into The Creation Program.

“But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade.”

Detail #4:  That “parable” describes what God’s Son, The Prophesied Messiah, has “sown”.   Jesus Christ has “sown” The Word of God into the minds of all who hear Him.   The “birds of the sky” are those Human Programs blessed to think about The Programmer!   Catholics fly into the details of what The Mustard Program has become.  We “sit on its branches and dwell in its shade.”

“With many such parables He spoke The Word to them as they were able to understand it.  Without parables He did not speak to them, but to His own disciples he explained everything in private.”

Detail #5:   God explains to every Catholic, “in private” that The Catholic Church is “The Mustard Seed” that has grown to provide “branches” and “shade” for those who seek peace and rest.

Detail # 6:  When did Jesus plant the “seed” that became that “tree”?   He Spoke That Holy Seed into being on earth with This Holy Word!   “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Only Catholics are blessed to more fully understand The Mustard Tree in which we are blessed to live.
