Question 1: “Did Jesus actually tell us to ‘Be Catholic’?

Answer: “Jesus told us that in Today’s Reading! Jn 14:6-14 is as clear as it needs to be. ‘Jesus said to Thomas, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’

Question 2: “Where did Jesus get The Power to let people come to ‘The Father’?”

Answer: “Jesus was clear about that! ‘If you know me, then you will also know My Father. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.’

Question 3: “Did all His Disciples understand that?”

Answer: “No. ‘Philip said to him, ‘Master, show us The Father, and that will be enough for us.’

Question 4: “Did Jesus show Philip ‘The Father’?”

Answer: “Jesus helped Philp let his mind understand Who he had been seeing! Jesus said to him, ‘Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father.’

Question 5: “That is an astonishing statement! What did Jesus do next?”

Answer: “Jesus asked The Two Questions that have separated willful goats from His obedient sheep for 2,000 years! ‘How can you say, ‘Show us The Father’? Do you not believe that I am in The Father and the Father is in Me?’

Question 6: “What did that mean?”

Answer: “Jesus was revealing The Nature of God as The Holy Trinity! ‘The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own. The Father Who dwells in Me is doing His works. Believe Me that I am in The Father and The Father is in Me, or else, believe because of the works themselves.’

Question 7: “Do Catholics believe in both The Words ‘and’ ‘the works’ of Jesus?”

Answer: “Only Catholics are able to meanngfully believe The Great Decree of Jesus Christ in Mt. 16:18-20: ‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.’

Question 8: “Are Catholics the only people who truly believe that Jesus is God?”

Answer: “Yes. ‘Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father. And, whatever you ask in My Name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it.’

Question 9: “How do we know that Catholics believe that more than other people?”

Answer: “Only Catholics respect Jesus enough to obey The Call to Catholic Communion Jesus repeated 14 times: ‘If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.’
