An amazing “joke” from Father Gordon MacRae!

.     One Catholic priest calculated that The Universe came into Creation 8.7 billion years ago.  Another Catholic priest made a “joke” about it!

Question 1:  “What is the ‘joke’ from Father Gordon MacRae?”

Answer:  “It begins with a question:  “Why did the ‘Higgs Boson’ particles hurry to church?’.”

Question 2:  “Why don’t I understand that?”

Answer:  “You do not know what Fr. MacRae knows!  In nine words, he summed up all reality.”

Question 3:  “‘Higgs Bosons’ sum up reality?  What are they?”

Answer:  “‘Higgs Bosons’ are the smallest things anyone has been able to find.   Another Catholic priest, Fr. Georges Lemaitre, analyzed starlight.  He calculated  that 8.7 billion years ago, the expanding universe suddenly came into being.

From that ‘day without a yesterday’, ‘Higgs Bosons’ have been God’s building blocks for galaxies, structures, cells, molecules, atoms, electrons, photons, and quarks in the Vast Mass of all the things God Spoke Into Being.”

Question 4:  “For 8.7 billion years, has all the mass in the expanding universe been formed by ‘Higgs Bosons’?”

Answer:  “That reality is part of the ‘joke’!   It may be that the smallest part of us is our soul.  It has organized all the cells, molecules, atoms, and electrons that make each of us what we are!”

Question 5:  “Is our ‘soul’ the ‘organizing principle’ of our mind and body?”

Answer:  “Our immortal soul is that ‘organizing principle’.  Our soul may be a living ‘Higgs Boson’.”

Question 6:  “Each person is ‘made in the image of God’.  Is the relationship of our soul to our mind and body the same as God’s relationship to all that He Spoke Into Being with His Holy Words whose growing echoes are actually made of ‘Higgs Bosons’?”

Answer:  “That may well be!  That is why Catholics are blessed to obey This Word From God and get the only ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that He left on earth!  ‘

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven; . . .’”
