Are thoughts in our minds like souls in The Mind of God?

. If we receive The Body and Blood of Christ in Catholic Communion, does our soul take pleasing form in the Mind of God?

~

Question 1. “We produce thoughts in our mind. Are they similar to the immortal souls God allowed to be created at our conception?”

Answer: “That is an interesting question. We do have ‘thoughts’ in our mind. Some of those ‘thoughts’ live in our minds for much of our lives.”

~

Question 2: “Where do the ‘thoughts’ in our mind originate?”

Answer: “Important thoughts originate with God or the devil. This is one of ‘God’s Thoughts’ given to us by The Catholic Church. ‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven; . . .’

Another ‘Thought’ from God is ‘Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.’

Question 3: “What kind of ‘thoughts’ come from the devil?”

Answer: “‘Evil thoughts’. They encourage pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth.”

~

Question 3: “Is our soul changed by the ‘thoughts’ we allow to live in our mind?”

Answer: “Yes. Choosing to think ‘evil thoughts’ makes souls displeasing to God.”

~

Question 4: “What if we let our minds focus on hateful thoughts about God and our neighbors?”

Answer: “Evil thoughts keep many souls from God and His Heaven.”

~

Question 5: “Some Catholics compare Heaven TO God’s Mind. Are souls in God’s Mind similar to ‘thoughts’ that we choose to cherish in our mind.”

Answer: “We know one group of souls is in Heaven. ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’ It seems that willfully disobedient souls are not in Heaven, whether we think of that as God’s Mind, or not.”

~

Question 6: “Will living so that we may be among ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.’ make our soul so pleasing to God that He will welcome our soul into Heaven?”

Answer: “That is why Catholics compare the thoughts in our mind to the kind of souls that God lets into Heaven.”
