Question 1: “Why do ‘kings’ and ‘princes’ on earth attack Our Church?”
Answer: “Today’s Reading from Psalm 2:1-12 asks the same question! ‘Why do the nations protest and the peoples conspire in vain? Kings on earth rise up and princes plot together against the LORD and against His Anointed One: . . .’”

Question 2: “Why do earthly powers ‘plot together against The Lord and His Anointed One’?”
Answer: “They do not want Any Power on Earth to be greater than their vanity! They tell God, and us, ‘Let us break their (God’s) shackles and cast off their (His) chains from us!’”

Question 3: “Do they try to destroy God’s Catholic Church?”
Answer: “For 2,000 years, those who choose to hate God have attacked The Church He Spoke Into Being with His Holy Word: ‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven.’”

Question 4: “How does God respond to the vain people who attack His Church?”
Answer: “‘The one enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord derides them. Then He speaks to them in His anger, in His wrath He terrifies them: ‘I myself have installed My King on Zion, My holy mountain.’”

Question 5: “What Power does God have that ‘terrifies them’?”
Answer: “God tells them that He ‘will proclaim the decree of The Lord, He said to me, ‘You are My son; today I have begotten you. Ask it of Me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, and, as your possession, the ends of the earth. With an iron rod you will shepherd them, like a potter’s vessel you will shatter them.”
A thousand years later, in Rev 2:28, that ‘iron rod’ is given to Jesus so He may ‘shatter them like earthenware’.”

Question 6: “What did King David, and later, Jesus, tell powerful people on earth to do?”
Answer: “‘And now, kings, give heed; take warning, judges on earth. Serve The Lord with fear; exult with trembling, accept correction lest He become angry and you perish along the way when His anger suddenly blazes up. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.’”

Question 7: “How can vain and arrogant people ‘take refuge in Him’?”
Answer: “Being Catholic is the only way that any immortal soul can have the only ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that Jesus left on earth.”
