Question 1: “Do Catholics see that Every Teaching of Jesus has an ‘opposite’?”
Answer: “That is clear in Today’s Reading from Matthew 5:1-12:
‘When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up the mountain, and after He had sat down, His disciples (His First Catholic Bishops) came to Him. He began to teach them, saying:
‘Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.’”
~
Question 2: “What is the ‘opposite’ of that?”
Answer: “‘Cursed are the vain and arrogant, for theirs is the chaos of hell.’”
~
Question 3: “Are people who choose to disobey Any Teaching of Jesus similarly described by ‘opposites’?”
Answer: “Yes! ‘Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.’ tells us that those who reject love, truth, and life will not ‘be comforted’. They will live forever in the agonizing ‘discomfort’ of hell.
‘Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.’ tells us that the arrogant will end up with nothing.
‘Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.’ shows that those who willfully disobey Any Teachings of Jesus will never know the joy of being ‘satisfied’ with anything.
‘Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.’ shows that the unmerciful will not be shown God’s ‘mercy’ in this life, or the next.”
‘Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.’ tells us that willful sinners will not ‘see God’ because they are not allowed into Heaven.
‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.’ has this ‘opposite’: those who seek war and conflict are orphans of the devil.
‘Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.’ tells that those who do not stand up for God’s Truth will spend eternity in agony and chaos.
‘Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of Me.’ Those who insult and persecute us for being Catholic are cursed to the degree that we are blessed.
‘Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.’ has an ‘opposite’ telling us that those who are not obedient enough to get God’s blessing will have a punishment that will be great in hell.”
~
Question 4: “Did Jesus say there were thousands of years of God’s Precedents for those who obeyed God?
Answer: “Yes. ‘Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.’
~
Question 6: “What is the ‘opposite’ of Grateful Obedience to The Sacred Word with Which Jesus Christ Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being:
‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven.’?
Answer: “The devil opens the doors to hell for them.”
