Anything that keeps us from seeing God’s Light is a ‘veil of vanity’.
~
Question 1: “Does The Bible tell us how to remove ‘veils of vanity’?”
Answer: “Yes! St. Paul is clear in 2 Cor 3:15—4:1, 3-6. ‘. . ‘Brothers and sisters: To this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over the hearts of the children of Israel, whenever a person turns to the Lord the veil is removed.’”
~
Question 3: “What lets us take off our ‘veil’ that keeps us from seeing God more clearly?”
Answer: “God’s ‘Mercy’ lets us see Him! ‘Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy He has shown us, we are not discouraged.’”
~
Question 4: “What happens to those let ‘veils of vanity’ keep them from getting The Saving Power of ‘God’s Mercy’?”
Answer: “They ‘perish’! ‘And even though our Gospel is veiled, it is veiled for those who are perishing,’”
~
Question 5: “What causes a soul to be ‘veiled’ and ‘perish’?”
Answer: “Worldly concerns! ‘. . the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that they may not see the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.’”
~
Question 5: “Can we be saved by listening to anyone who says they are ‘Christian clergy’?”
Answer: “We should follow these ‘Christian clergy’: ‘For we do not preach ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus.’”
~
Question 6: “How can we know which ‘Christian clergy’ are truly ‘your slaves for the sake of Jesus’?”
Answer: “They obey The Great Decree of Jesus Christ: ‘And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of The Kingdom of Heaven.’
The others will tell us: ‘I know more than Jesus Christ about that!’”
~
May all the world be blessed to remove the ‘veils of vanity’ that keep us from seeing the only place Jesus left ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’.
