Ezekiel’s Vision of God blesses Catholics to “think small”.
~
Question 1: “Why do Catholics ‘think small’?”
Answer: “We learn from The Prophet Ezekiel that God is ‘small’. Since we are made ‘in the image of God’, our soul is also ‘small’.”
~
Question 2: “Where does The Prophet Ezekiel tell us that ‘God is small.’?”
Answer: “In 1 Kings 19:11-13, God reveals Himself to Ezekiel: ‘Go out and stand on the mountain,’ the Lord told him. “I want you to be there when I pass by.”
‘All at once, a strong wind shook the mountain and shattered the rocks. But the Lord was not in the wind. Next, there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. Then there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
‘Finally, there was a gentle breeze, and when Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his coat. He went out and stood at the entrance to the cave.’“

Question 3: “Did God show Ezekiel that He is ‘a gentle breeze’ Who can create energy that ‘shakes mountains, shatters rocks, make earthquakes, and causes fire’, and does some of that ‘fire’ take form in the star that is the sun that gives us light and life?”
Answer: “Catholics realize that we, on the earth, have telescopes that can see 13 billion light years in every direction we look. We cannot see an end to God’s Power. Catholics understand The Creator of all is ‘a gentle breeze’ Who made Himself visible to Ezekiel.”
~
Question 4: “What does Ezekiel’s vision of God tell us about ourselves?”
Answer: “Genesis 1:27 states that God made man ‘in his own image’. That tells us our immortal soul who came into being when we were conceived is a tiny version of that ‘gentle breeze’. It is small enough to fit in, or around, what we were when we were smaller than ‘a grain of salt’ at our conception.”
~
Question 5: “Is our immortal soul a ‘spark of life’ as small as a ‘holy photon’ as it guides the growth of our mind and body?”
Answer: “God’s Power to Create all Creation is seen as a ‘gentle breeze’. Our much smaller, immortal soul may be seen as a tiny, ‘puff of wind’ that was blown into being by that ‘gentle breeze’ when we were conceived.”
~
Question 6: “Do Catholics understand that the Universe, at least 26,000,000,000 light years in diameter, was put here so that we, whose tiny souls fit inside the . below the question mark at the end of this sentence, could get our tiny souls to live with God, in Heaven, forever?”
Answer: “The Catholic Church knew that more than a thousand years before telescopes were invented. Catholics see that This Word of Jesus Christ, Who was predicted in great detail by over 300 Prophecies in The Bible, Spoke into Being the Holy Structure that can give the most important thing in Creation to every human soul:
“And I say unto you thou are Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
~
Question 7: “Did He Who Fulfilled The Propecies, ‘the living Son of the gentle breeze’, take human form and give His earthly life to warn us about the danger of ignoring ‘small things’ that help or hurt our soul?”
Answer: “Mt. 5:17-19 is clear! ‘Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.’
Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.’”
~
Question 8: “Did Jesus warn us about people who would lead others to disobey Any Word of God or of The Church He Spoke Into Being with His Church-Creating Word?”
Answer: “‘Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven.’ Those in ‘The Kingdom of Heaven’ look at souls not in Heaven and know they are ‘least’.”
~
Question 9: “Was Jesus clear about who would get ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’“?
Answer: “‘But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.’”
~
May all be blessed to have our immortal souls be “blown into Heaven” by “The Gentle Breeze”.
