Question 1:  “Many Catholics see a Simple Mystery and ask:  Today is ‘Good Friday’.  It is the Holy Day on which Jesus Christ fulfilled Prophecies of being killed by ‘being lifted up before men’ and 27 other Prophecies enumerated in https://www.cbcg.org/franklin/SA/SA_28prophecies.pdf .

The Simple Mystery:  why isn’t the Holy Day of ‘Good Friday’ known as ‘The Best Friday’?”

Answer:  “The Catholic Church never wants to confuse people. If ‘Good Friday’ were called ‘The Best Friday’, people would be confused when Christmas Day, celebrating the Prophesied Birth of God’s Son in Human Form, fell on a Friday.”

Question 2:  “Why don’t more people believe that Jesus is The Messiah Who fulfilled over three hundred Prophecies, some of which were written thousands of years before His prophesied birth in Bethlehem in Micah 5:2?”

Answer:  “The devil has kept people from obeying God’s Word since the day he convinced Eve to ‘eat the forbidden fruit’.  For the last 2,000 years, demons have made many minds too confused to live by The Church-Creating Word from He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His first Catholic Pope:

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Question 3: ” Can souls of people too confused to live by Church-Creating Words of The Son of God get into Heaven?”

Answer:  “Good Friday lets us see many kinds of people then, and now.  Pontius Pilate symbolizes those with little knowledge of God and the Prophecies.   Sadducees, Pharisees, and scribes represent those who know and willfully make a living by leading others to ignore many of God’s Words and Prophecies.  The rent-a-mobs they hired then, and put on their television shows today, always shout, ‘Crucify Him! Crucify Him!’.  In every age, some obey God and others serve earthly concerns.”

Question 4:  “Does the devil confuse people by telling them, ‘You will go to Heaven because Jesus could not have fulfilled The Prophecies if I had not led you to crucify Him?’

Answer:  “Catholics are not confused.  We see that Christ’s uncontradictable Word in John 15:14 describes the only souls allowed into Heaven:  ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

~

Today’s Simple Catholic Rhyme:  “May all be blessed to understand / those who  obey Christ’s commands /  Get ‘keys to Heaven’ from His hands.”
