In John 16:29, The First Catholic Pope and his Bishops were in agreement: “The Disciples said to Jesus, ‘Now, You are talking plainly, and not in any figure of speech. Now, we realize that You know everything, and that You do not need to have anyone question You. Because of this, we believe that You came from God.”
The First Catholic Bishops helped The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope take form over the whole world: “And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
The First Catholic Bishops began to tell the world what God would choose many to do: “Be Catholic!” The word “Catholic” was first written by St. Nicholas of Antioch, in 110 AD. The word “Catholic” was spoken long before that by those to whom he wrote.
Jesus then gave His First Catholic Bishops a depressing message! “Behold, the hour is coming, and has arrived, when each of you will be scattered to his own home, and you will leave Me alone.”
Then, He gave them Himself as a cure for every worldly unhappiness in this “Hidden Prophecy”: “But I am not alone, because The Father is with Me. I have told you this so that you might have peace in Me. In the world, you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.”
That is a “Hidden Prophecy”! For the next 2,000 years, Catholics would be blessed! We would be chosen to hear and follow The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”
Every “trouble in the world” is cured by receiving Catholic Communion. That Holy Food gives us the “courage” to “conquer the world” by “Being Catholic!”
Today’s “Alleluia”, from Colossians 3:1, tells us what it means to “Be Catholic!” “If then, you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.”
When we receive Catholic Communion, Catholics know where it comes from.

If we cannot choose to go to God’s Judgment as Catholics, may we at least be blessed to avoid the awful eternity Jesus promised to those accursed in Mt. 18:6, “But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

May all be blessed by never saying or doing anything to keep anyone from “Being Catholic!”

Today’s Simple Rhyme: “Many pray. / Catholics obey.”
