“A One-Minute Reason to be Catholic!” #1

Believers know what happened to Adam and Eve when the first Victims of Protestantism chose to “deny” God in One Awful Minute!

Question 1:  “Does Today’s Reading from 2 Timothy 2:8-15 give ‘One-Minute Reasons to be Catholic’?”

Answer:  “St. Paul told us to be Catholic, beginning with:  ‘Beloved:  Remember Jesus Christ raised from the dead, a descendant of David:  Such is my Gospel, for which I am suffering, even to the point of being chained up like a criminal.’

Question 2:  “What is St. Paul telling us?”

Answer:  “That great Catholic Evangelist is telling us:  ‘But The Word of God is not chained.  Therefore, I bear with everything for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Jesus Christ, together with eternal glory.’

Question 3:  “Does that tell us we must ‘Be Catholic’ to ‘obtain salvation’?”

Answer:  “Look at St. Paul’s next three teachings!

1.  If we have died with Him, we shall also live with Him;

2.  If we persevere, we shall also reign with Him.

3.  But, if we deny Him, He will deny us.’

Question 4:  “Where does that tell us to ‘Be Catholic’?”

Answer:  “Being Catholic is the only way to not ‘deny’ The Church-Creating Word that Jesus Christ died to leave echoing on earth!  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

Question 5:  “What can happen if we ‘deny’ The Church-Creating Word with which Jesus Christ Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church into Being?”

Answer:  “St. Paul teaches that Jesus may ‘deny’ us ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ He gave to The First Pope if we ‘deny’ His Church-Creating Word.”

May all be blessed to think, read, and share One-Minute Reasons to be Catholic!’  Then, we will not ‘deny’ Any Word of Jesus.  When we strive to ‘Be Catholic’, our souls may have the only ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ Jesus died to leave on earth.
