The biggest problem that many Catholics have ever seen:
Mary appeared at Fatima in 1917. She clearly and publicly made it clear that She, Daughter of The Father, Spouse of The Spirit, and Mother of The Son, wanted the Pope and Bishops of The Church to consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart and that she wanted the Third Secret of Fatima released in 1960.
There is no question about what She clearly wanted. There is no question that Her two requests were not granted in a clear, unambiguous, and public manner. It is clear that The Holy Father and the Bishops of The Church have not openly, publicly, and unquestioningly consecrated Russia to The Immaculate Heart of Mary.
It is also obvious that, since 1960, The Holy Father and the Catholic Bishops have not clearly and publicly released The Third Secret of Fatima, as the Blessed Mother clearly desired.
The Big Catholic Problem: Catholic clergy and laity cannot help but see that The Church is not openly, publicly, and unabashedly obeying Mary. That sets an example of less than perfect obedience, evasion, and pretending that something was done that wasn’t.
That leads to a question: Is the Church, by disobeying the Mother of God, in serious error? How long must error last before it becomes permanent?
A possible answer to The Big Catholic Problem: In the 95 years since Fatima, especially in the 52 years since 1960, the less faithful have left The Church. They have failed the greatest test of all, to remain faithfully Catholic while the intellectuals, pseudo-intellectuals, and others whose true allegiance is not to The Creator but to His created entities went away. They are the ones who have freely chosen to ignore God and His Mother. They have no excuse.
Boiled down, a possible answer to The Big Catholic Problem is that The Church is not flawed. The Church was allowed to not fully and completely obey Mary in order to separate sheep from goats in the time leading up to transition of the Iron Age into the beginning decades of The Age of Electron Control.
That is Catholic Fundamentalism’s suggestion of a possible answer to the Big Catholic Problem.
