Again, Jesus gives The Catholic Cure for “Confusion Headaches”. #93.

Prophets and Psalms come together in this short reading to let us see God's Light and not let pride keep us from Being Catholic!

Today’s Reading tells us that Catholics live where Jesus predicted we would!  Isaiah 8:28-9:3 gave a History lesson and a Prophecy when he said,

“First, the Lord degraded the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the end He has glorified the seaward road… Anguish has taken wing, darkness is dispelled, for there is no gloom… The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.”

Isaiah’s Prophecy about Jesus appearing in those lands repeats an earlier Prophecy in Psalm 27:1,4,13-14, “The Lord is my light and my salvation.”  Today, we see what we should do with our lives:  “One thing I ask of the LORD;  this I seek:  To dwell in the House of the LORD all the days of my life.”

The Prophet and the Psalmist are telling us to “Be Catholic!”, obey The Church-Creating Word of The Prophesied Messiah to His First Catholic Pope, get the  “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” so that our immortal soul can “dwell in the house of The LORD all the days of my life”!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Catholics are blessed with the humility to let God’s Prophets and Psalms lead us to be forever among:  “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.”  May all be blessed to Be Catholic and have our souls live forever in God’s “great light”!

God’s most Blessed People seek to please God rather than themselves.  We want our souls to go to Judgment in obedience to 1 Corinthians 1:10-33,17:  “I urge you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, and that there be no divisions among you.”

May all in the tens of thousands of somewhat Christian groups be blessed to focus on The Prophets, Psalms, and Bible logically enough to control their pride, Be Catholic, and get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” from the only place Jesus left them.

Today’s Simple Rhyme:  “It is always pride / that makes Christians divide.”
