Today’s Reading describes reality for God’s People and families! Exodus 17:8-13 tells about every “war being waged” against God’s Believers, when,
“In those days, Amalek came and waged war against Israel. Moses, therefore, said to Joshua, ‘Pick out certain men, and tomorrow go out and engage Amalek in battle. I will be standing on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.'”
Believers are always under attack by Amaleks. Today, the “Amaleks” who are “waging war” to take as much money from us as they can include public educators and environmentalists. Everyone who understands: “As long as Moses kept his hands raised up, Israel had the better in the fight.” will ask God to help us “fight” what some describe as “pseudo-intellectual white trash” led by modern “Ameleks” to “wage war” against our families.
Those who want to protect our families and freedom from the looting Amaleks of our day look at Today’s Reading and understand from Psalm 121:1-8 that: “Our help is from The Lord, Who made Heaven and earth.”
We see that today’s “Alleluia” from Hebrews 4:12 applies to us. “The Word of God is living and effective, discerning reflections and thoughts of the heart.”
The “reflections and thoughts” of every Amalek’s “heart” are focused on destroying our families and freedom. Luke 18:1-8 includes: “Will not God then secure the rights of His chosen ones who call out to Him day and night? . . . I tell you He will see to it that justice is done for them speedily.”
Everyone asks: “when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” May we be blessed to find the “faith” to “Love God and love your neighbors as yourselves.”
Or, will we go to Judgment among Amalek and the looters who attack God’s families?

Today’s Simple Rhyme: “Fighting for faith and freedom / lets us be in God’s Kingdom. Others do not do so well: / They send their souls to burn in hell.”
